Sustainability is a multidimensional concept that has been at the top of the business world’s agenda for quite some time. These dimensions range from environmental problems that we feel more and more each day to societal problems. Looking from the business perspective, we see that the sustainability strategies of corporations lie at the intersection of these. While the integration of sustainability into business strategy is inevitable, the effective use of sustainability as a leverage becomes the of creating value.
While the business models are being transformed in this direction, the role of stakeholders in the ecosystem is also evolving. Even though there has been an increase in the sustainability focused approaches, the wicked problems and the need for urgent solutions regarding these are also increasing. Corporations, startups and international organizations are answering this call.
As Harvard Business Review Turkey, we are organizing an event where we aim to analyze the approach of the business world in terms of understanding, internalizing and strategizing sustainability. We will be hosting the representatives of business world, thought leaders and international experts.
