Even though the origin of the “Metaverse” term goes way back, this term has been placed at the top of the agenda in the last few months of 2021. Metaverse has been the subject of various conversations from daily chats to professional summits and repeated over and over again. All these suggest that this term signals us that there is a new, decentralized world coming up. In this new world where new technologies are crucial, there are many uncertainties. It is expected that organizational structures, business models, marketing activities and financial models will be changing in regard to these uncertainties.
As HBR Turkey and Meta, we aim to investigate the decentralized world with a holistic approach in our event, “Decentralized World: Understanding the Strategy, Business Models and Value Creation in the Era of Metaverse”. We will be talking about the Metaverse’s impact on the business world, changing dynamics, sectoral roadmaps and effective strategies with the attendance of experts, sectoral representatives and thought leaders.
